Thank you for spending your time visiting my website and rummaging through the pages; it’s lovely to see you here.
So, who am I?
I am much like most people out there; I am someone who has journeyed far in life, not necessarily in geographical distance but in discovering who I am as a person.
I have dreams, wishes and shadows that cram themselves into my space. My experiences and roles shape my identity, and ultimately, I have a desire to understand the ‘why’. Why we are the way that we are and the ‘how’; how we can be the best version of ourselves in our human bodies.
I take a multi disciplinary approach. I don’t believe in ideas and concepts that are in isolation, as that is not how reality works; our reality is essentially a representation of the quality and essence of our lives.
What do I love? See below for 5 main things…
I wouldn’t be able to start without mentioning her first! I always do this lovingly 🙂
I recently took the plunge ; ) and moved to the South Coast of the UK. A consequence of this is that I have A LOT of photos of the sea. Sharing these photos on this website is one of my indulgences.
I truly love learning so much so that I have two degrees and over 700 books (mostly non-fiction). Yes that’s another love – physical books!
I know it sounds cheesy but it’s true. Even in my day job in the NHS, I constantly interact with people, helping them understand what is required to improve their services.
She is the ultimate teacher in many ways; she can revive you, inspire you, make you feel in awe, teach you and remind you of who you truly are.
My passion lies in helping people achieve an holistic understanding of self, blending traditional wisdom with modern life. Rooted in a love for nature and a deep understanding of cultural perspectives on health, I strive to empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I have always been interested in people and studied Health and Human Sciences (which was composed of Medical Anthropology modules however due to university politics was titled Health and Human Sciences!) at university as well as completing a second degree in Herbal Medicine. I have studied Tai Chi, Chi King and participated in martial arts and Yoga. I adore being outside in nature and feeling connected to the essence of life that surrounds us all.
I consider myself a grounded person (for you astrologists, I am Taurus rising!) and quite determined! It has taken me a couple of years to get this blog off the ground and I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning something new and having a creative outlet – something that was missing previously.
When I left school, I wanted to be a photographer as well as an explorer. Now, I am relishing the opportunity to take all my own photographs for this website and continue my exploration of life. I hope you enjoy the collection of photographs and narratives that I have created as much as I do!
